Physician Assistant

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a bi-state agency that builds, operates, and maintains critical infrastructure in the region, including airports, seaports, bridges, tunnels, and transit systems. Our Office of Medical Services provides high-quality occupational health care to our employees, supporting the health and safety of the workforce that keeps the region moving.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York and/or New Jersey (must be eligible for both).
  • NCCPA certification.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health, urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between worksites.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

  • Active and unrestricted NP license in New York and/or New Jersey (must be eligible for both)

  • DEA registration and authorization to prescribe controlled substances
